The origin of the transport company J.Middelkoop b.v. can be traced back to is around 1880/1890. At the time it was a coal trading company of D.Middelkoop. In 1944 Joop Middelkoop took over the coal trade from his father and started to carry out transports shortly after the war in 1945.

Much has changed since Joop Middelkoop transported the goods of the first clients with a Ford truck. In the meanwhile the fleet consists of 36 trucks and 50 employees. The organisation of the company has also changed very much. In the past all the work was done with pen and paper, but now the latest Transport Management System (TMS) is used.

We offer service in a relaxed atmosphere, because we are a family company. Our clients attach great value to the fact that we deliver quality with a smile. In addition, our drivers provide a good service to our clients when they are on the way. This is of great importance, because our drivers are the showpieces of our company.

Our aim is to maintain and reinforce our position in the transport of agricultural machines, flowers/plants and air cargo. However, we can also handle the transport of goods from completely different sectors. We hope that we can maintain and reinforce the relationship based on trust with our clients.
